I have two suggestions :
There is a new technology out called radio frequency identification tags (RFID) the company that makes them is called Alien Technology®.
These tags allow stores and business to track products using these mini devices. You can read about them on the website I put in the link area below.
Another Suggestion is :
The Baby Boomers have now got to the age that many of them are having health issues and need assistance devices to help them keep living in their homes instead of having to go into retirement homes or hospitals.
Come up with some good suggestions or ideas and write a paper about it.

How about the pros and cons of legalizing marijuana? I was a high school English teacher and this topic always was at the top of the list - there is a ton of information available, everybody seems to be interested and have an opinion, and it's very easy to organize and develop.

Why not write about this website? You can discuss different aspects like social dynamics, etiquette, etc. You'd be able to gather a lot of your research (including quotes) just by posting questions.

Lets see: Youths voice in regards to American politics. Do you have a voice? Do politicians listen to todays youth? Are todays young people involved/concerned with issues that have long term consequences such as global warming, social security and its reform?

Write about yourself. The topic is one you have already researched. You lived it. However, don't fill it with adjectives describing yourself. That's boring. Talk about events, people - the stories told through your own eyes.
