Without matter there would be no physics - So without chemistry - there would be no physics.

But to the point - everyone above above is correct - physical change

I really was pretty sure it was a chemical property, but looking at everyone else's answers I dunno now. Why wouldn't it be chemical because any heat being transfered is having to do with a chemical change. A physical property is like a boiling point or a melting point, or a color change or a change of state. A chemical change describes the ability to function in a chemical reaction. Would you mind telling me if you get this right or not on your paper, I need to know. thanks
