Alright so today was a bad day. Normally I dont have bad days, so this was really weird. First I went to Chemistry this morning, got my *** kicked by the material...proceeded to do the same thing in Trig...to turn around and do it again in Chem Lab.

I also realized today that I -dont- want to do anything around the idea of Science, Law, medicine, etc. I would rather do Kinesiology and maybe be a personal trainer :)

I also forgot to mention that Im a junior, graduated in 03, and way behind. I feel like an utter failure.

Ontop of that, my new job at Chilis is whooping my *** royally...

First off as you were growing up, what gave you pleasure. Did you draw, write, sing, or perform atheletics' with the ease as if you were born to do that? What was the gift that brought compliments of "wow, you did that?!" "Your so talented!" Can you remember that time. What made you happy to be able to do....? That is the gift in you. Don't feel that because you've invested so much time/talent in the field that you thought you should go in, that, that is what makes it right. No, it is about discovering things about ourselves, learning to make changes when necessary. Those who are hard pressed to stay the course in their profession are usually the most misserable people. It usually takes a crisis in their lives before they will change careers or their lifestyles to make it more meaningful.
At least you were started on the path of seeking. Me, I wasted so many years wondering what I should do that I never made a movement at all. By now I could have tried out being a flight attendant, a nurse, a teacher, a policeperson. At least I would have known by now what it was like to be. You at least are learning early. Now it is time to change course....

Don't know what the question is.....

But here's some advice from somebody who wishes her biggest problems were about chem lab etc......

Look at your life, honestly. Write a list of all the good things in your life. And think about how it could all be so much worse. You could have been born in a third world country. You could be shot at every time you walk out your door. You could be starving. You could have been born into so many horrible situations. But you weren't. You were born into a lucky country with as much food, shelter safety, and education as you could ever want. Instead of whingeing about how hard things are, count your blessings and be thankful for what you have. Some people would kill for the opportunity you have to get a brilliant education and good career.

Get over it. Stick a smile on your face and make the most of what you have. Don't waste your life whining about what you don't have.

Love your choice of career . . .kinesiology. Just keep focused on that, on the positive. A significant component of kinesiology is comprehending a client's total life picture. You've begun to draw an analysis of your own total life picture, so to say, here with this question. Now, heal thyself. Address this disharmony as a health issue. Find the folcrum point in all the seesaws of your life and stand right over it, like in the middle of a see-saw. Remember how nice that feels? Go to a park and stand over the folcrum of a see-saw and use your legs to move the board go up and down with you in the middle. Focus on the feeling that centerpoint gives your body. Also, your age group should be having lots of sex. With someone, I mean. Go out and have fun, not to drink, but to savor the passion and balance of others.

AAAAAAAAAHH the greatness of college, lol!! I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I wonder if I had, had more experience in my chosen major would I still feel the same. Don't worry I am finding that many of us go through changes such as these. We must remember that not only is college a time in life that things seem most crucial (at least as far as career decisions go) everything else is changing in our worlds. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and breathe.

I read the book entitled Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It explained the word fail is a verb not a noun. It also describe successful people who fail many times.
My life events has cause me to fail, but my persistent helps me to reach a successful life. You are not a failure. Also from the Rich Dad book "your banker won't ask to see your report card"
Life is a gift from God. Every day is a blessing. You are a victor not a victim. The neat thing about your bad day is it is in the past. Tomorrow will be better, why? Because you are in charge of your world. You will not let anything steal your JOY. Why? Because you are a victor.

Some days just suck. Royally. You just have to move on from it. Some Monday mornings I just want to cry and go back to bed. I have some goals and dreams that keep me going. Just remember it isn't always going to suck.
