If your worry stems from the ethnicity factor (I'm just guessing this might be your issue), I wouldn't use a pen name.
"The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini is a best seller.
If that's not your worry, then first I apologize for being presumptious. Your name is just fine, that's why I'm just trying to guess why you might use a pen name. I've heard many warnings against pen names, actually. If I find the reputable sources, I will post and let you know.

In this case your real name is pretty interesting, and has a nice ring to it. However, if I ever published anything I would use a pen name, just because it adds intrigue and keeps your real name secret; and also because Mark Twain did.

I've always thought about this myself when doing things I want to claim credit for. Get some kind of DBA (Do Business As) name, so that if you ever want to prove that ur pen name is really you, you can. I like a pen name idea better, becuase I can be whoever I want and I don't really like my birth name anyway...

It would probably be smart to use a pen name in most cases. Privacy is a precious thing, and making it easy for just about anyone to track you down by name will lead to a lack of said privacy.
Your name is simple and distinctive enough to be remembered, so it would also work.
This one is really up to you.

personally, i would write under a pen name, but that is because i am shy. I see no reason you shouldn't use your real name. By the way, good luck :)

There are some circumstances in which I believe that it could be good to use a pen name:
-If you're embarrassed about your work.
-If there's some sort of safety issue.
-If you're breaking in to a new genre with a whole new set of readers.
Otherwise, I'd say use your real name.

Hi there,
I'd say it depends on whether you want to be known as you for your writing or whether you prefer anonymity.
Personally I write under my name as I want people to know it is me writing. However, I know people who write on certain subjects and use a pen name because their name wouldn't be acceptable in that subject area (e.g. a man writing for a woman's magazine) or because they prefer some privacy.
I think your name is fine to me and if you want to be known as the person who wrote it, then use your own name.
All the best
Jason

Honestly, I prefer [like totally prefer] using my real name when I put my own writings up because people will know who I am. But then again, with the world and its criticisms these days, you can say 'if it's good, you wrote it, if it's bad, someone else wrote it.' - quoted from a friend.
