I didn't intend to get pregnant, but now that I am I'm pretty happy. It is a completely different experience than how popular culture and media have portrayed it. It is by no means easy, but it is so thrilling to feel and see something growing inside of you.
I would say that it is natural to feel some anxiety about it, especially if it is your first time or have never had children. Your body was made to deliver and it knows what to do. So, you can relax because your body takes over!

Honestly...I was sooo not thrilled when I found out I was pregnant...I balled like a baby...I was only 20 and had only been married a year. But I fell in love with my baby the second I saw her. And then...I got pregnant again...ahem...*cough...2 1/2 months later..cough* *blush*...Needless to say I was REALLY not pleased this time. The whole time I was pregnant it felt almost like a science project...I felt no connection to my baby at all...and sad to say....even after she was born for the first two weeks I still felt really distant from her..but she was such a sweet baby she stole my heart. Now I can't imagine my life without either one of them. They are my little ladies..we have so much fun together. Now I am glad that birth control was such a nightmare for me ( I had to keep trying so many because I had really bad reactions to every one..) Because given my stance on children when I was younger. I might still not have kids...if ever. So ...after that long winded story (sorry) my point is...sometimes being pregnant isn't a joyous event...you can feel strange and sad...and just down. it is OK. You are allowed. Don't let anyone make you feel bad. And in the end it will work itself out. Good luck!!

I loved being pregnant. I felt great!
When I was a teenager I thought I'd never have kids because of all the pain you have to go through but now that I've had 2 I feel differently!
You are perfectly normal if you feel weary about having kids. Everyone is different!

Yes. I am. I never wanted to do this again. Every time I have gotten pregnant (even trying) I end up crying and being angry at myself later. I don't know why I do it again but the babies are SO cute I can't help it. I have hard pregnancies and so yes it is normal. Good luck

I never looked forward to being pregnant, didn't even really think i wanted children. Now that i AM pregnant (29wks) i still don't like it! lol. Love my baby - best moments are when baby kicks me, but the morning sickness, tiredness, mood swings, back aches etc etc... no thanks - i'd rather do without! I don't imagine i'd want to do this again anytime soon. Can't wait to have this darling child.. but i think my baby will be an only child!

Yes. I never wanted kids, EVER. I really just did not want to have the experience at all, but then I actually did get pregnant(accidentally, obviously) and I loved it. Now I am so glad to have my kids. I love being a mom. I can't even believe that I never wanted them!

I think it depends on the stories you have heard, your life style and your whole view on parenting. Pregnancy is wonderful if you're ready, and of course there are discomforts, but it's all so worth it in the end, if that's what you really want. I looked forward to it all 3 times and had discomforts all 3 times. Now I have 3 wonderful children. If you dread it, maybe you just aren't ready.

I did look forward to being pregnant but now that I am I wish I weren't! This is hard, and this pregnancy has not been easy for me, but I know in the end I won't regret it.

maybe it's just the nerves. and anxiety.
i was actually very happy being pregnant. and i am looking forward to being pregnant again. after having a baby you don't think about the labor and delivery part. you just think about how much joy it is to be pregnant and meeting that baby.
