Yea you need to go to a doctor and have it checked out because if it's been a month since the last period, it could be something serious. ANd he might have to put you on some medcation to get it back again. So make an appointment now and go have yourself checked and tell him what's happening

Take another test, preferably at the doctor's office. Sometimes if there isn't enough hormones, you can get a false negative, especially early in a pregnancy.

at home tests are usually accurate.i was always told that usually a neg is a neg, but theres always that chance. but since it has been a month i would really go see a doctor if i were you and definitly have them do a blood test to check out.
