AHA! Interesting question. It is said that God created man in His image. Therefore, since we have navels God must also, as did Adam and Eve.

The converse is equally intriguing. Suppose Adam didn't hae a navel since he wasn't born the traditional route. If God made man in His image, God must therefore not have a navel either. However, since every human being on earth does have a navel, then we are no longer in the image of God, indicating a separation from God or different. And since we're therefore distanced, detached, and different from God, why should we listen to what is said in His name?

Taking this to another level, if Adam had a navel, and God created him in His image, where did God's navel come from? Does He have a mom? Hmmmmmm

Yes. Adam was created by God and it was a perfect body. All his descendents have navels.
