Me and my 12 year old sister are going to our cousins sweet 16 in two weeks. It is at her house, so I can imagine it won't be very formal. I have my outfit planned but my sister needs help. What is an good outfit for a 12 year old to an informal sweet 16?

She likes to be comfortable, but still trendy at the same time. Her style is Trendy and Preppy. She is asking if a cute polor under a henely would be cute? A friend gave her the idea....??

Well I am a preteen this should be easy.
Well, if you are going to dance, she might not want to wear heels. If she does, wear comfortable heels with pads in them or wear low-inch heels.
The outfit depends on her taste. Ask her what she normally wears. If she is a more laid-back person person, maybe wear some jeans, sneakers, and a nice jacket. If she likes to be edgy and daring, maybe skinny leg jeans tucked into boots with a tunic that has prints or patterns on it with layered necklaces. If she is girly, maybe gauchos with boots underneath and a dressy top. If she likes to be trendy, skinny leg jeans tucked into fur-trimmed boots with a buttoned "layer" shirt. Lots of layers of necklaces are also good.
For her hair, just do it in an updo or leave it down. Look for some styles in magazines, and experiment on your free time to decide which one looks best on her.

Aladdin possibly, with cream trousers gathered on the backside, and a blue jackety ingredient. Robin Hood, green hat and outfits etc Mickey Mouse, with mouse ears and that i think of the disney keep used to sell the palms, or you may desire to in all risk discover some on ebay or someplace else on the information superhighway. Any prince with a shirt, trousers and cloaky form ingredient. i'm going to upload extra if/whilst i think of of them :)

Well there are plenty of cute things out there! Polka dots and stripes are "in" now. Forever 21 has cute clothes or try Wet Seal, sometimes they have appropriate clothes for 12 yr olds.

I really think if you wear a short skirt or Jeans and lots of tropical colors I think she would look great. Have a good Time!

If it's dressy, go for a dress. But otherwise I'd still say go for a skirt rather than jeans.
