The reason the villager's give King Kong a sacrifice, is to keep him from going nut's on them. He has no family so he is lonely and confused. You can see that shot of the grave yard early on in the latest release.

If you watch carefully...the movie actually shows you the graveyard of the last of Kong's tribe...the shot passes quickly...but it is there.
And when you watch the beginning of the T-rex fight...(you will see that this was the crew responsible for the decimation of the remaining kongs...and that they had been operating as a trio with perfect efficiency for a number of years)..you will see the two rex's waiting for the third to make his strike...before they attacked. Don't take my word for it....check out the dvd. The cool and calm way Kong takes this crew on makes it clear that this is not the first time he has fought them.
I think his hatred for them shows particularly when he faces off against the last remaining rex...if you watch as they charge...Kong grabs its jaws...opens wide...sticks his face in its jaws...grabs the tongue with his teeth..and rips the rex's tongue out by the roots...
this was not somenonsense about showing the girlthat he was breeding stock. This was personal and old unfinished buisness...paybackfor their killing all his homies...and leaving him all alone. Kong was not trying to get some whitemeat. He was alone...and lonely...and was quite shocked to run into another being that understood...that he Kong...understood things...had an understanding o fthings outside himself...was aware.
The girl became his soulmate...as he became hers...witness to the loneliness and desolate past of the other...finding a way to communicate the most important things to the other across the divide of langauge, race pain and isolation..."I see you...I hear your soul...and I love you...just because you are you.".
Good flick.

Hey King Kong might've been a little lonely but he was NO mama's boy! He moved out of the house back in the early 90s.

What do you mean???
Don't you know anything!
Someone had to make some money in the family and not many people will hire giant gorrilas to flip burgers and such.
You know those King Kong vs. The swamp monster, godzilla, and the giant radioactive butterfly movies. That wasn't King Kong, It was his parents, which explains the sudden burst of energy in those darn japanese import movies!!!
