Obviously, if we tried harder, we could accomplish more but we can't always be productive and proactive. There are times when we just don't wanna do something. I think we have every right to be lazy to a certain extent.

Yeah... If you cut out two hours of TV time each week, just think of how much you could get done! And sleeping in until 10 is lazy behavior, so if a person who normally does that got up at 8 each morning, they'd have 2 extra hours every day- that's 14 hours a week!! Laziness is BAD!

Think of what we could accomplish if we pursued everything with the same emotion by which we seek love. We certainly could accomplish more. Unified effort can defeat any opponent. Think Battle of Thermopylae.

Thomas Jefferson said, "It is amazing what one can accomplish if one continually goes about doing things."
It is so true. Someone said, 'if we could give up 2 hours of TV a week...' The fact is I cannot. It takes me at least a month to accumulate 2 hours of TV.

Tragically, humans only ever use about 10% of their brain cells. However, I think we are capable of pushing ourselves beyond our limit to accomplish more than we thought we could. It's all a matter of attitude and will-power.
Yes, the average American especially is far too lazy, and we're killing ourselves: all of our children are fat, we're dying of heart disease, etc... I think our lives would be much more full if we tried to make every day count, and didn't waste time doing frivolous things. We only have this one life to live--better make it count.

No, I think most of us truly want to do our best and take pride in everything we accomplish!! Although, technology and processed food doesn't help us along very much.... lol! :) Good question!

We could accomplish much more if we had strong and continuous motivations and noble and selfless ambition. It would become easier to do more challenging things than it is now to do usual things.
