I am 20 weeks pregnat and my right nipple is always leaking is that normal or should I be concerned?

Totally normal. The breasts go through a lot of changes during pregnancy as they prepare for breastfeeding. They also operate as two completely separate milk making machines, so don't be concerned if one leaks and the other doesn't. That is also normal. The stuff coming from your nipple is probably a clear slightly yellow/orange liquid and actually helps condition your nipples in preparation for breastfeeding. It is the beginnings of collustrum, the first food your baby will receive after they are born. Congrats with your pregnancy and good luck with it all!

It's normal :) I'm 36 weeks and when I was around 20-26 weeks just one of my nipples kept leaking too. I thought it was really odd and I thought it was a little early for the leaking, but the Dr. said all is well. He sort of laughed and said all is well, so don't worry. It's annoying but mine stopped leaking around 26 weeks and they haven't leaked since. Good Luck and Congratulations on the Baby:)

perfectly normal. i am at 36 weeks, and my nipples started leaking around 25. some women leak for the majority of their pregnancy, and some don't until the very end.

I believe that is perfectly normal..and thinking back I can remember my nipples doing the same thing. Your body is getting ready and preparing for a baby...

It is very normal because your breast is in the proses of developing stage. Try to use nipple pad it will help. good luck with your pregnancy.

It is fairly normal. Talk to your OB if you are concerned about it. You can go to Wal-Mart or drug stores and get breast pads that go in your bra. That way you won't have a mess on your shirt. :(

I love newly pregnant women!!! They are soo cute. It is normal. Unfortunately completely normal. Wear breast pads if it bothers you or is noticeable. It is just your body preparing to feed your little one. Congrats!

it's normal i am almost 31 weeks and have had leakage for a couple weeks now. my husband (this is his first child) just think that it is the neatest thing. it amazing what men find interesting.

no it's normal, same thing happened to me too, I'm 30 weeks pregnant now and I've invested in breast pads to help my shirts out.
