Sometimes when I am chillin' out (oh lets say on the couch) I realize after a few mins. my hand is in my pants. No, not touching myself, but just my hand resting under my pants (below the naval, above the croutch). I've noticed over time that its not just me. I've seen women do it too. Does that paticular area calm the body? I dunno.........help me out.

Hands are extremities...like feet. Heat escapes them. Your hand gets cold, it's normal to want to move it closer to your body. When a guys scrotum gets cold, it's natural that it too moves closer to the body. The hand in the pocket it also a habit. A way of fidgeting. If you have change and you're keeping your hand busy, or you don't want to cross your arms and want to have a resting place for your hand. All of these are reasons.

You and Al Bundy, man.

Just part of the human experience, I guess.

Eat more fiber, eat some probiotics, calm your gut. That's a good point about, like, acupressure--I don't know if massage or pressure there would help calm you down. It's a good question, but I'd have to ask somebody or read up on it--I don't know offhand.
