Who do you think is more "freaked out" by gay men, women or men?

Men, definitely. I think that typically, women are not threatened at all by gay men (unless motivated by stereotypes, homophobia, or religion/bigotry). Men, however, when confronted with a gay man, are facing someone who makes them consider their own sexual orientation, who possibly brings a sort of sexual tension, and even an unconscious fear of rape, regardless of the sexual orientation of the other man. He may be straight as an arrow, but still feel a deep discomfort near a gay man, a wondering of what could happen. Basically, a gay man forces the typical man to question his own sexuality and even his own gender identity (is he effeminate?, etc.)..
Those are my thoughts on the matter, at least.

Without a doubt, men! Straight men, for some reason, find gay men to be an affront to their masculinity.
Women, though, love gay men because they know all about designer clothing, jewelry and are a LOT more emotional and caring than straight men.

it's very tough to generalize. i know many straight men and women who "freak out" at the gay idea.. i also know many straight men and women who have no problem with it.
i think you would find in general, more men would appear freaked out.. but this may actually just be an act.. men are taught to act a certain way in society.. but many don't actually feel comfortable with this gender role..
some men may claim gay freaks them out, but deep down, they know that there is nothing to be freaked out about.

Men definitely. But the funny thing is, straight men often get upset when they find out a gay man isn't attracted to them. Explain that for me!!!!!

but men have something to worry about.... if a man is looking at them in a weird way, they want to run..

that's a no-brainer. straight men are the most freaked out by gay men. they actually think all gay men want them.....LOL!

men for sure! almost none of the women I know ever really seemed to care, but men---forget it! Some don't care but the majority at least show discomfort
