Pathologic impairment.. like pacific for specific... it can be corrected with repeatedly bonging the uninformed person on the head every time they do it... it is not a speech impairment.. glad you asked that

Its interesting that Rush Limbaugh used to make fun of people who pronounce nuclear , "nucular" . Now that a Republican President is so gauche as to make this error Limbaugh has removed this verbal arrow from his quiver .

Sometimes people have different pronunciations because of the region of the country they live in. Like some people say "crick" for creek. Annoying, yes....but it can be hard to change the way you have spoken for years.

I guess you're refering to Georgy's pronunciation? Well, look at it this way: he's the President of the United States; do you honestly think no one's ever told him that his pronunciation is incorrect?
In his case, it's all about image.
In other most other cases, it's because they're stupid.

Why do they say 'pahk' when any fool knows it's 'park'? Why is it pronounced 'Wooster' when the name is clearly spelled 'Worcester'? Oh wait, those are liberal elites, so they're incapable of error and we're not allowed to question it...
