I don't think so, it's very rare to have a false positive and more likely to have a false negative.

Yep it can. When you first get pregnant there is a cyst from where the egg is released. After implantation the cyst maintains the pregnancy until the placenta takes over. If the cyst doesn't go away and there is no fertilized egg or no implantation then you will have a false positive. Sometimes the cysts have to be removed or drained by a doctor. Hope this helps.

No, the only things that could give you false positives are fertility treatments containing hcg, not reading the results within alotted time and miscarriage until about month after. These are it. If it is positive you are most likely pregnant. If you get postive result, get blood test and start taking prenatals.

I don't think so. A pregnancy test is based on hormones let off when you are pregnant.
