Hmmmm...considering how many Arabic and Farsi immigrants settled in the Detroit area...and considering how many have been arrested for terror-related activities...and considering the FBI rates us as a murder/rape/violent crime top 10 every year...it's really hard not to pick Baghdad...and there's nothing fascetious about this answer.

Is this a serious question? B/c Baghdad is a much more dangerous and violent city than Detroit. Anyone who says otherwise is not being serious or just playing off stereotypes of Detroit. You don't see car bombs or bombs being set off in malls killing innocent people in Detroit. You don't have a war going on, a real war not some turf war. In Detroit, and any other city in America, it is dangerous for those who choose that lifestyle. Most murders and violent crime happends to people that are involved some way or another, either directly or inderectly, with drugs and other crime. Yes, innocent people do get caught in the middle sometimes but it's a rare occurence. The media just makes things appear worse than they are. Essentially 85% of the violent crime in Detroit is probably caused by about 1%-2% of the population. Innocent people die in Baghdad everyday. There is no city in the developed world that can compare to Baghdad, I'm pretty sure it was recently named the most dangerous city in the world right after other cities in third world countries.
Detroit is bad, no doubt about that. But you can't even compare the two.

grandmasc, you cannot compare the mess you see every day on the news in Baghdad, to Detroit! We all know Detroit is somewhat of an mess, but it does not look as bad as Baghdad !!!!! There are no bombs going of in Detroit, are they? It is not on the news yet. Are those Arabic and Farsi emigrants not behaving themselves well in Detroit??

I talked about the sarcasm and it grow to be humorous, thanks yet i'm questioning that Baghdad is safer. a minimum of we've troops in Baghdad to guard, in Detroit there is not something to resign the criminals from murdering people. they don't look to be fearful of the police.

I worked as a paramedic in Detroit, and Flint. Never had a problem. Folks in Detroit arent using IED's IE Bombs to kill the Police. So I say Detroit. You just have to keep alert, and don't be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Go in groups, stay away from Blind Pigs, Bars, Guns and Booze do not mix well.
