Hi Everyone and Thanks to those who will give their advice, anyways My Fiancé and I are expecting a Little Baby Girl :) and we just can not decide on her name, see I like the name Ashley and he likes the name Mariah. I mean I do too but he wants that for her first name and I don’t so my question is which way do the names sound better? #1 Ashley Mariah or #2 Mariah Ashley

Mariah is less common the Ashley. In 2005 Mariah was #85 and Ashley was #10. So I would go with Mariah Ashley. My fiance is 14 weeks and we are also having a tough time with names we both like and that are not in the top 100 names. We don't want 3-4 children in the same class with the same name. Best of luck with your little one.

Have you thought about just using one of these names and then saving the other name it you have another girl down the track a little?
Personally I like Mariah better, and you can always use Ashley for both a boy or girl name in the future.

I know about 5 Mariah Ashley's....one including my daughter Mariah Ashleigh Nicole. Keep that in mind as Mariah is becoming an EXTREMELY popular name!
