i get my period irregular like almost every week and i was just put on birth control

.. is it true that this is going to make me gain weight ??

There are so many different birth control options.... and everyone will react differently to them.

When you were put on these the doctor should have told you any side effects. Also, if it is a pill you have been prescribed there will be an information pamphlet in each box...

Personally I put on a little weight, but a lot less hassle than mini me's!

That really depends on your body, your hormones levels and the hormones in your birth control. Yes, some birth controls can cause weight gain in some women, but depending on the individual and the birth control, they can also cause weight loss.

It could, but not necessarily. I didn't when I started on the pill. Just eat healthy and you should have nothing to worry about.

No reason why it should. Just keep eating a healthy diet and you'll be ok and at least you'll know when you're period is due!
