I restored a 1972 Chevy Nova. It took about a year to finish and I spent over $6000.00. I loved it and had a lot of fun driving it!

Restoring a 1965 Chevrolet P/U, dumped the six cylinder and dropped a 69 Vette motor in it with dual flowmaster exhaust. Sounds sweet and has butt loads of power now. I need to replace the wood bed and give it a fresh paint next, also planning on converting to front disc brakes for better stopping power.
Got about 5000 into it now, will end up having about 10,000 to 12,000 by the time I'm done

The formula for calculating cost and time is:

Estimated time to completion x 10
Estimated cost of parts x 10

It can also be calculated by:

Total value at completion of restoration / 4

That's my experience anyway!
