My leopard gekco isn't eating on his own. I took him to the vet and she gave me anibiotics and said to force feed him. That worked for a few days, but now he just spits anything I get into his mouth back out. He is very small compared to the other one that we have ( and we got them both at the same time and they were the same size) it's been two weeks now, and his tail is getting very thin. Does anyone have any advice on how to best care for him? He isn't getting better.

I don't know if this will help or not, but it is worth a try...my friends had a similar problem after their leopard gecko lost its tail from being spooked. They force fed it baby food. It is harder for them to spit out due to its consistancy. After a while, it got back to normal...but it took a few days of baby food until it was ready for crickets again. I really hope this helps you...I think they used the chicken baby food. Good luck!
