Usb 2.0 Hubs?

I'm looking to add some more usb ports to my computer, i've seen some 7 port usb 2.0 devices but would like to know what you would recommend?

I have a 7 port USB hub, because I have a laptop, I actually got it for my desktop pc because it only has 2 usb ports, in which 1 doesnt work. I have a Mikomi from Argos. costs £19.99

To be honest, I would avoid the hubs and instead install a PCI USB card.

This card locates inside the PC in a PCI slot and usually has 4 external USB ports (at the back of your PC) and 1 or two internal ports for memory card readers, etc.

The main reason is power supply. The "south bridge" has plenty of available power for your USB devices, while the "north bridge" can easily get overloaded with devices attached such as keyboard, mouse, network ports, speakers, on-board USB, etc... Overloading any part of your PC can either cause cooling problems or devices will not operate correctly.

i have a 2 port usb in the front for gaming but need card have a 2 port in back you can ad BUT will PC handle it [ to day you need 80 or better to play to days games ]

you don't really need seven ports 4-6 is about the max you would need with mouse keybordand other stuff
