I dont necessarily need to hotwire my car. It will start after I turn the key about 100 times. Ignition switch bad I reckon. So I have the key, I can turn the ignition, how do I get the car to start now?

not advisable on a new car but you can power hop the ignition 1 & ignition 2 then just arch your starter wire.

but if this is newer vehicle I wouldn't suggest doing that.

Why don't y ou just replace yyour ignition switch,It's easy to do.

Put you key in the ignition sswitch turn itto the run position reach under your steering shroud the should be a silver push button, get an awl or similar and push the button in.All the while gently tugging on your switch.

Once you get your switch out, then other one installs in the run position,Once you feel the click on the push button you are done.turn the ignition to the off postion, & remove key.

Sounds like you need to see if the starter is getting a signal. If the starter is getting a signal when you turn the key, then the starter or the solenoid is bad. If not, you need to check the ignition switch.

a jumperwire from the hot side of the battery to the + side of the coil (thru the ballast resistor) then trip the starter relay with a screwdriver) aint gonna do much on newer cars though.. stearing wheels lock and many have electric fuel pumps etc.. But you just asked basically how to hotwire..
