The "prt scrn" or "prt sc" button won't work. And using crtl + "prt sc" doesn't work either.

That's because you have to hold down Ctrl then click Print Screen. Now, open up Microsoft Word and right-click and paste. Here is where your print screen will show up. From here you just save, name and email the screen to a friend or support dept. if you choose.

Once you use Ctrl Prt Screen, you then need to do something with the image.

open Paint and then paste - walla

Many graphic programs include a screen shot. Paint Shop Pro does.

Go to http://www.download.com and get Screen Print & Capture 32 3.5. It's freeware, and highly rated.

use function key(usually colored in blue) + print screen key

fn + SysRq

Ok you press shift+print scrn then you go to any word software you have like microsoft word and you press ctrl+v and it should be there pasted

alt prntscrn works, but it only puts the screenshot on your clipboard, so you have to then paste it to a blank or new file. the demo of fraps is free, and has a good screen grab feature.
