I mostly remember random alternative rock songs. In 1st grade I remember my favorite song being "1969" by the Smashing Pumpkins.

I RE-MEMBER 1985 Madonna and Prince. Purple Rain and Like a Virgin. That's what I remember most about my childhood, and when music and dancing first became a part of my life. Then after that it was EZ-E in 1989. And after that it was going to the roller rink, and all the cheezy music they used to play. Run DMC, BBD, all the hip hop. and when I grew up, I then had an appreciation for the classics.

Oh geez songs I remember from growing up...when I was like 5 I LOVED "Thunder Rolls" by Garth Brooks but probably one of the songs from when I was in like the middle school/high school era is (boy band and pop tart songs aside) probably "I Knew I Loved You pt 1" by Savage Garden or "Torn" by Natalie
