When I try to watch dvds on my laptop and every dvd I try to watch skips throughout the whole movie. I know it's not the dvd because it is brand new and I havnt even had my laptop for 4 months now so theres not many programs downloaded on it to make it run slow. Just wondering if anyone knows what this problem may be, it's really driving me crazy ha ha !

It could be the program you're using to play it with, try a couple different media programs. There are many different programs you could use for DVD playback, afterdawn.net and download.com probably have several available to download for free. If you're still having trouble then it could be the disc or the your computer's DVD lens.

You need a codec in order to watch DVD's and many other Video files
download AVS DVD Player (for free) and you will have no more problems
