Wow I know what your going through, I'm in 7th grade and some boys are just so inmature!!! Whenever some boys are being just plain bad I tell a teacher that I can really talk to, and if the teachers are sick of it too then you have more back up. If you have referals in your school then the teachers could give him one. Tell the teachers that he called you a really bad name. The teachers shouldn't tell on you, but this has probably gone far enough. Also talk to you parents they've probably had some bad kids in their classes while they were growing up and have some advice too. Whenever I have a problem I go to my Parents first. Good Luck and I hope he stops being Anoying(yea right, right?)

I think everyone has gone through this in 6th grade at some time. This boy could be going through some tough times at home that you or anyone is not aware of. It could be that he doesn't have a father in his life, could be that he is being treated badly at home, it could be that his brothers and sisters treat him bad because maybe he is the youngest in the family, it could be that he doesn't have parents who care and love him, it could be many things as to why he acts that way.
So, you don't really know his side of the story. When kids act like that at school, then that means that they are learning this behavior from home. It all starts from the home first. So, he probably doesn't have a loving home. So, when he acts this way, he is wanting the attention, but he is also doing it the wrong way.
The only thing you can TRY to do is to just be his friend. Or, you can just stay away from him. But, don't make things worse for him either by calling him names, just because he called you a name too. You are better than that.
If he becomes worse and starts hitting or if he keeps up the bad name calling, then that's when you need to go to your Principle and let him know what happened. Just hope they will keep an eye on him.
Just remember this, Treat others like you would want to be treated". If you don't get the same respect back, then at least you have done your part. (smile) Hopefully, your parents taught you this too.

Don't play his game. Say nothing. Don't even pay any attention to him when he is being annoying. He is just trying to get attention. Don't give him any!! Only talk to him when he is doing or saying something nice. It's kind of like training a puppy, only reward the good behavior. Does this make any sense to you, I hope so.

I am not going to take your problem lightly --but I want you to know that you are a breath of fresh air--thank you--I think you are a delightful young lady --your parents should be proud--and I am sure that they are--You give him that gum--and then ignore him --you have class and he --DOE:'S NOT ---And tell everyone else to ignore him also--he will get the drift--being an outcast is no fun--

He is being a jerk because its getting him attention....and when you argue with him...your giving him all the attention he needs. If he really is that annoying...stay away from him and don't acknowledge his existence....maybe then....he'll start being a little nicer. Best of Luck!

You are giving him what he wants, attention. Act like he doesn't exist, don't approach him.
