like really... why is it such a big deal to some men and not yo other others.. why do they care what others think why do they feel bigger or smaller then others...?
what is the average size of a penis anyway?

most men take heart from the posers who freely walk about the locker/changing rooms, strutting their stuff. Most young lads really start to feel inferior at this time and it can have a bad effect.

Because size truly does matter. There is three different ways that a woman can have an orgasm. Topical (the clit), Internal now as far as the internal the womans body will adjust its self to the smaller and the larger penis to a certain degree but when it is adjusting to the larger you are getting much more internal surface tension and able to hit all the spots. and the third is anal which most women don't want to hear but ask some experienced women and you will find out and unfortunately for some of us most women won't do anal with the well endowed. Any way that is a few reasons men are self conscious about there penis size. And although most of what the last said is true the vagina most anyway will adjust for up to 9 inches some deeper and some more shallow.

As adolesents, males use penis size as a way of saying who is superior. If you have a little dick then you are inferior to the kid with the biggest schlong. It's the male version of breasts. Why do women feel they need to have bigger boobs?
The average size of a male penis is 4" long, but most guys have an idea that they should be 8" or bigger. Most of that comes from pornstars who in reality are not all hung like horses. Yes some are huge! But many only have about 5 or 6" but star with a small woman and it looks like its really big. I used to worry if I measured up but then realized that I have what I have and I've never had a complaint in bed.

I think it's because there is so much variation as regards penises, not only in size (length and girth), but also colour, shape, whether they're cut or not, amount of hair, size and shape of scrotum etc. Our hands are all more or less the same, but our penises ... well, that's another story.
I think guys are naturally curious as to how other guys' penises look (even though many would never admit it), and they inadvertently make comparisons which often, unfortunately, lead to self-consciousness. In addition, many of them worry about the functionality of their equipment.
Most guys would like a big penis (over 7"; the average erect penis is said to be 6"), but at the end of the day, size is not the issue.

Men got concious about there penis as we often here women say that size does matter and there is a lot of pride at steak down there lol lenth is not all that inportant it is girth women look for (so i am told) and men are self concious about there bodys just like women are about breasts bum etc the average penis size is between 5 and 6 inchis erect hope ths helps

It tends to be a macho thing for men. I asked a similar question a couple days ago. It doesn't really matter, but males tend to judge their manhood by their size.
Average is 5-6 inches. The average woman is about 6" deep when aroused, so having anything bigger than that is really pointless. The inner 2/3 of the vagina has basically no nerve endings anyway.
It's just about proving their manhood.

For teenagers, it is a big issue since it affects their egos. Having a big one mean that they are better than the guy with the smaller one. Being at that age, that is the only they can show or talk about to show their superiority.
If you have to ask about penis size, then size does somewhat matter to you. Since you are asking, based on my own observation, I would say that 95% of guys have erect penises measuring from 4" to 7".

Well...you are touching (no pun intended) a very Male issue...shorties know it and in the Macho aspect feel self conscious, and it is a natural thing that the feel like this (even primal where the strongest MALE got the women). Average is suppose to be somewhere around 6 inches as I have been told.

Its the same about women and their bodys, i dont know about that other answer though i thought an average size penis was 7 or 8 inches but im not to sure now...

We are always lead to believe size really does matter - i guess it's a similar thing for some women regarding their chest size.....big breasts..small breasts.
Average size for a penis is approx 6"
