My brother got his contact leses a little bit a go and it took about a half hour to put one in and now he is trying at the other. He just can't get it. I saw one of my friends do it and it was no problem for her. Is this normal for him to have a really big problem the first time? I mean, it will probably take an hour to get them both in. Oh, look. He is giving up. Do you have any advice either? My brother is 15 if that makes a difference.

Ya I wear contacts. Tell him not to worry because it's one of those things you just have to get used to. When I first got mine the doctor put them in for me and it took me 2 days just to get them out. It's really easy once you've gotten the hang of it. The only advice i really have is to try using the middle finger to put them in because its easier for some people that way, including me. Also, its easier for some people to look up at the ceiling or directly into the contact.

hope this helps! good luck!

My experience is that it is not so difficult. I take some time, but just a few minute for first time putting it on and taking it off.

The point is calm down, looking at contact. Something like hold your breath and do it.

I think your brother do it in a hurry and he is afraid to touch his eyes. Don't give up. I have done that too many times, just a few second is enough.

i am 14 and have dealt with glasses since grade 3. i got contacts in grade 6 because of sports and had a really difficult time with them at first. There is absolutly nothing wrong with not being able to put them in in the beginning. tell him not to give up, after a couple weeks or so it sould be automatic. i dont even barely notice them at all anymore. and once there in there in :D // if he is still having difficulties with it in like a week he could go to the optomitrist and they can give him a lesson which will help. tell him to keep at it, age doesnt really have anything to do with it, other than maybe like his pride of not being able to put a contact lenz in. but its more pathetic to give up. KEEP AT IT :D

is there packaging? that should assert on it how long they final. i weat touch lenses daily and the hygiene of them is quite strict. im adviced to chuck lenses greater effective than 3 months previous (yet that could only because of the fact they're greater possibly to break). i dont think of in case you wore them some cases you're able to get a watch an infection. only determine you clean them till now and after...at last in spite of the undeniable fact that they're going to easily smash. that's once you're able to be careful - if it splits on your eye that's hard to get out the two products of lense.

dont worry about it... i was 13 when i got my contacts and it took mr a REALLY long time to put them in. that was 2 years ago.

try to put the contact in ur palm and wash it with solution pick it up with ur fingertip. use both hands to keep ur eye open and stick it in carefully. it might not go in fully so wait a little bit or move it around in ur eye a little then it will og in.. if u fail to do it try again and agian. trust me. also, one day he will get his confidence up and put them on with no problem.

Yes, I did. I almost wanted to cry because i got so frustrated. I was 16. Just practice. It takes time, but you'll get the hang of it eventually.
