You can download your songs elsewhere but you need iTunes to sync your music with your iPod.

A few friends of mine that have ipods say you need it. But you can always download itunes from the internet. I'm not sure where though.

regrettably you cant upload songs itunes does this so people wont get loose songs, yet im useful in case you hook the two between the computers certainly one of them will show up as an exterior hard drive and you'll be able to place them on it =]

No - you have to have Itunes installed to import music to your Ipod.

Yes, use windows media player in your computer . You can attach your ipod through a USB port nad your computer will recognize it, from there follow the promps on windows media player to download saved fikes into your ipod.

Why don't you have iTunes? It's free and works with PC or Mac. Go to the Apple website and download it. If you don't want that, go to download.com and search for "music organizer"
