I know you're pretty bleepin pissed off. I just found out right now! Really how could you suspend Kobe for what he did. You can't prove whether it was intentional or not. I really think it was just that reaction players have when getting fouled on a shot. Kobe was sort of trying to tell the officials that he had gotten fouled on the shot. Stern has really been getting out of hand, first the dress code, then the new ball, then the technical fouls, now the suspension for Kobe. It's time for Stern to retire, we need a new commsioner, not some old bleep!!

I didn't see the foul but obviously Stern felt like he had enough evidence to justify the suspension. If he's wrong Kobe can always appeal, plead his case and if Stern is wrong he'll change his decision. But he has to be firm, you see how things keep getting out of hand. It's better to err for the sake of caution rather than let everything that the players say was unintentional go. That's when things really get out bad. I'm sure when the Pistons and Pacers had their brawl, everyone involved was able to justify it in their own mind.

Stern doesn't make those decisions. It should be Stu Jackson that you should be upset with.

I'm no Spurs fan or Kobe hater, but that elbow looked intentional to me. Kobe's done it before, and he'll do it again. If the Lakers can't beat the Knicks without Kobe, then shame on the Lakers.

Though I also think David Stern is a tool.

Agreed. Stern is a joke. He doesn't seem to notice that in every game there are inadvertent elbows flying around in player's faces.
I think if Kobe had done this on purpose, (obviously not), he would be saying so, but he even went over to the other player and asked if he was okay. That's a sign of good sportsmanship and the proper thing to do. A player who did it with intent wouldn't care.

Defenitely they should get rid of the man. Also why would Kobe want to even touch Manu when he is getting his team to the playoffs and statitscally averaging his best year ever. Stern is just a complexed man and no one will ever figure out whats wrong with his desicions.

The more I think about it I wonder if it was a planned move by management to get more fans on Kobes side so they can market him more. I mean last week they had a year anniversary for his 81 points on NBA.com now a suspension? Doesn't add up. I think they're smart and they realize that he's the best and nothing is going to change it so they have to try to get people to side with him to boost ratings more.

Kobe has appealed the suspension and we will see.

Apparently there was more to it than what we saw. Kobe is great a disguising his cheap shots.

Stern is a racist a s s hole. He is the only commissioner in any sport that never ever played the sport prior to being a commissioner. He's just some rich racist Jew that managed to escape the holocaust. ......... Did I go to far with that ??
