Both are all pros and rated at the top of their respective position. I mean how do you compare an all pro quarterback that has set several NFL records to a great linebacker who makes great tackles and outstanding plays. One is a great offensive star and the other a great defensive star. I believe that Urlacher can run better and hit harder but Peyton can throw the ball better and make better on field decisions so let's call it a tie.

Urlacher is obviously the better pure athlete, but I'd give Peyton the edge in being better at his specialization. I'm not taking anything away from Urlacher, it's just that Manning is going to break all the passing records one day.

Thats an odd question. They play two different positions. They are both very good at their position. But to say who excels at their position most would be Peyton. The records the consecutive games. Dont get me wrong Brian is a very good linebacker but, not near the best like Peyton is at QB. Peace out.................

you can't compare because the positions are totally different. only similarity is that they are in the middle of their side of the ball and they call the plays. most MLBs couldn't be QBs and most QBs couldn't be MLBs. and being that, you can't compare the type of player they are...athletically, Urlacher is better...but that comparision of the player is stupid...

their both the best at their possision. as far as athlete it would have to be brian urlacher because he's all over the field hitting people and taking hits and getting back up.

Different postions, so can't fairly compare them. Urlacher also plays a more individual postion. Manning needs his line to give him time, and needs his WRs to give him somewhere to throw.

What a silly question. It is something similar to "Who is a better musician, Jimmy Page or Ginger Baker?" One gets paid to throw the ball, one gets paid to physically destroy opposing players.
