In the yugioh cards wat does the EN stand for? unlike the old ones they didn't have them but in the new ones, yugioh gx, it has like DR1-EN044 Raigeki Break.

EN stands for English. They started putting it on English cards because there are Asian-English cards as well and they're not legal in tournaments. You can still use older cards w/o EN though. You can tell if your older cards are AE if the Yu-Gi-Oh logo on the back of the card is in Japanese.

It stands for English. Since other countries put letters before their card numbers, America decided to do it too so you could tell the cards apart.
