My friend just found out she had to move away and i am really depressed how do I cope?

I had a friend in third grade who moved away and she told me as soon as she knew in the best way she could so we could spend lots of time together before she moved.

I was really sad but I realized that there was only a little time left to spend with her so I did spend it with her. We played at recess, ate at lunch, etc. When she moved away I was a mess. We promised to stay in touch and email and call but after awhile, things fell apart.

She made new friends and I was alone. I made new friends the next year and they were better than my old friend.

I'm not saying you can't still be friends with her. You can visit eachother, or play on this cool website where you talk to eachother it's below, you can call eachother, and lots more!

Just remember not to live in the past and keep up with the present. If she really is a good friend, you will keep in touch.

I am sorry that your best friend is moving away.
Get yourself a package that consists of stamps,
post cards, stationary and if your friend has an
E.Mail address, this will help as well. Go out
meet new people in time you will find others that
have the same interests that you do. There is a
website, that discusses topics for teens, that you

You can always keep in touch via emails, MSN, letters etc.

Keep yourself busy - it sounds like you need to get out!
Pick a hobby - street dance, pottery, yoga - whatever - and join a group!

Mete new people...You won't be replaving your friend, but meeting new people and keeping busy will help the hurt.

Also excercise releases endorphins, a natural happy high (trust me, it works)!

well remember that you guys and can still see each other and talk to each other and you still have friends where you live its just going to take time for you to get used to the fact that they arent going to be there so good luck
