I was not sure what catagory this would go under. Sorry if it's the wrong one. I was wondering if Sweeny Todd was a Real Person? Or was he just made up for the Play or Movie?

The truth is we are not sure - he may have been based on fact but it seems he came from the old "Penny Dreadful" stories.
He does seem a little to much like an uban myth to be totaly true and the legal documentation is lacking... There are arguements both for and against....

Yes, he and Mrs Lovitt were real murders who lived and operated their sordid business(es) in London in the 19th century. There are figures of them in Mme Tussaud's in London

Yes, he was a real murderer of England. They say he killed over 160 people in his barber shop and did make meat pies of them.
The play was awesome that they made of it. I saw it in Seattle and it is one my top three plays that I like.
Another one that's good is called Urinetown. (bad name however very good) And I love Phantom of the Opera.
