It isn't fair to compare rap to pop. Pop has wider audience. Beatles changed the face of pop music. No one can match what they achieved. Rap is something else. Real rap is not a fad, like some say, it is classic. And Eminem is a rap legend, because of the quality of his music and his popularity. He has 9 grammys (Beatles have 7 ;-)) and one Oscar. Lose Yourself is one of the best songs of this decade.

Eminem's music is better than the Beatle's? Wow.
People will be listening to the Beatle's music thousands of years from now. Maybe even millions of years. Eminem will be forgotten just like every other Hip-Hop star there ever was will be. Except for maybe 2pac. See? Eminem isn't even the greatest rapper there ever was. He needs to accomplish that before he can be compared to the best of the best.
I like Eminem's music alot but you should hear the Beatles music.

The Beatles. While John Lennon sings about love, Eminem makes headlines singing songs about killing his wife, getting head, and killing women. You somehow draw comparisons between the two, and im not sure how. Is it because you think gay-bashing is a valid form of free speech?

The Beatles. Their music will go on forever, Eminem is a rap star with a limited audience. What will he do when that audience grows up and sees rap for what it is. Give me all the thumbs down if you like, it doesn't change the fact rap is a fad that will go away.
