I think navy blue eyeliner can look and usually DOES look sexier than typical black eyeliner. Black is just black and it's boring, but navy blue eyeliner is so much more mysterious because of that tiny tint of color.

Also, it's really great for when you are dead tired and consequently you have pinkish eyes because the blue of the eyeliner makes the whites of your eyeballs seem whiter (which is always good, if you ask me...)

In terms of a make-up palette for this color of eyeliner, you probably want to use either blue (duh), purple or green shades. Remember though, these colors should all have a bluish tint to them to match with your eyeliner or else you'll look like a walking drag queen. :'( For even more pop, use blue mascara! There's this great new mascara out from Benefit cosmetics called Badgal Blue. I suggest you go check it out for yourself at the nearest Sephora. Happy hunting!

Hot. Escpecially if you have brown eyes because it contrasts with your brown eyes making it stand out. I suggest using this method
1. Start by highlighting the whole area with a highlighter I use Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector from Sephora

2. Use eye pencil to draw an almond shape around the upper and lower lashlines and slightly extending it at the corners.

3. Soften liner with foam applicator, then layer on eye shadow in a similar deep blue shade as the eyeliner

4.Then apply liquid black eyeliner as close to the lashline as possible (This will require a steady hand)

5. Once the liner dries dab a pin-head size bit of the highlighter I used in step one on the middle of my lids.

6. To maximize lashes wiggle the mascara wand into the roots of the lashes from side to side and then sweep it upward to create a curl

blue eyeliner and shadow are hott right now especially with the nautical/sailor theme that is so 'in' this year. use a lighter blue eyeshadow with a shimmer to add sparkle to your eyes like the glimmer of the ocean.

currently there isnt much that isnt hot in makeup. be sure to wear it with tones that match your skin. like if you are very fair and have dark eyes dont use bright blues or greens, and use a natural blush colour. i wear a violet colour liner with my brown eyes. if you go to a makeup counter ask diff people what they think, you dont even have to purchase any of it, Clinique, Estee Lauder and Mac...

I wear it. I also wear a taupe eye shadow with a vanilla highlighter (under the brow) with it; no complaints. Avoid blue eye shadow at any cost if you are blue-eyed like me.
