Morning sickness usually starts around 6-7 weeks. That's why people who have never been pregnant will say, "She just found out she's pregnant, and acts like she's sick." Which is because YOU ARE, lol. Anyway, the sleepiness will go away for awhile around 3 months, but it comes back around 6 months. And depending on how big your baby ends up being your back pain could get worse in the last trimester. I am not trying to scare you, just trying to be honest. I had to find out for myself. Lots of luck to you, and your impending bundle of joy.

I got morning sickness at around 8 weeks. My first ob appointment was the first day I threw up. :-( I heard an news report the other night about drinking soda and how the caffeine or sugar contributes to morning sickness in pregnant women. I don't know how true that is but I am going to give it up with my next baby. I had such bad morning sickness that I lost 25 pounds because I couldn't eat anything. Hope this helps you out.

Well consider yourself blessed, I knew both times with my pregnancy at 3 weeks because all I did was throw up!! Some people don't have morning sickness and some can get it at night!! I had headaches with mine to, you will soon learn Tylenol is your best friend!! And the bathroom visits usually don't get bad until the last trimester because the baby is sitting on your bladder....get alot of sleep now because after baby their will be NO more....

I thought morning sickness involved vomiting (gross, I know) but it is the nausea that comes with or without vomiting. I didn't think I had morning sickness at all until that was pointed out to me. I started in between 6 and 7 weeks. and I am nauseous all of the time (except when I'm eating or drinking).

I started exactly at 6 weeks to the day with my second and current pregnancy. Most women get it 4-8 weeks into the pregnancy, and some lucky ones don't get it at all.

i didn't have morning sickness until about a week or so after i found out i was pregnant, when i found out i was 6 weeks and a few days. but, with my first child i had no morning sickness, so if you don't get it just consider it a blessing, good luck.

Mine started in the 5-6 week range. Not everyone gets morning sickness though, so maybe you'll be a lucky one. :)

Mine started at one month and lasted until about 22 weeks. Urg! Point is, don't worry if there are any symptoms you get at different times than the books say you should - mine were all over the place!
Good luck!!!

I had morning sickness about 2 months along...with my son. With my daughter, I didn't have morning sickness at all. I don't know if that tells the sex or not, that's just my experience.
