Rape includes sexual penetration. Molestation is sexual touching, not including sexual penetration. Legal terminology differs from state to state. The terms you asked about are more general, where as legal terminology is usually something like "Criminal (or Aggravated Criminal) Sexual Assault" for rape; and "Criminal (or Aggravated Criminal) Sexual Abuse" for molestation.
UPDATE: Sexual penetration does not necessarily mean "you introduce penis." It could be a foreign object or even, in some instances, another body part (fingers), either into the vagina or anus.

RAPE is when you are old enough to say no and the state recognizes your age of concent. Molestation is when you are under age of concent or mentally unable to be responsible for the answer they give.
