I am 32 weeks prego. I know once the baby gets to a certain point, he/she slows down. ( cramped quarters) So why is it my baby is getting extreamly active? I'm talking about really going nuts for long periods of time? Just wondering if any one is going through this and did you ask you doctor about it? I do have an appointment on thursday before any one says go see your doctor. Just was curious to see what other people think. Keep in mind I dont drink coffee, eat sugar, drink pop or anything like that

While the baby may seem more active, it's probably just that the cramped quarters are amplifying all those movements. I didn't personally think there ever came a time when the baby became less active--until she was born and just layed around all the time.

Well, it is still natural for your baby to move very much so. At full term, 38 weeks, they start to become"lazy" is the term and slow done because of the less space they have due to their growth in size and weight. I am due for induction this Sat to Mon and my baby is moving just as much as she was week 35. So, every baby is different. If the baby is doing very sudden movements and very much violently it scares you, then that's different and should be reported to your doctor, as all monitoring movement should anyway. If she continues to be very active, there is no proof that you'll have a hyperactive child, just more so maybe a more active child.

Every pregnancy is different, even for me, i have 3 babies and all of them are different, babies have their own mind, some period of time they want to be active and sometime they just want to be lazy, and for you, your baby decide to be active, i guess u should be pleased cos u feel the baby moved all the time :-), there's nothing to worry about, but its best to seek medical advice abt it, it really help if you could be more relax and calm, and do enjoy the last trimester of your pregnancy and good luck.

You just have an active baby. My son was active until the time I went into labour(38 weeks 3 days). And by then when he was moving so much, it would hurt ME. My belly would move all over with him, lol.

I think that they seem more active now b/c they have less space and before they had a lot of space to squirm around and you couldn't feel it....now the baby's feet/ hands/head you can feel them all

Your baby is just flexing and using his/her muscles :) It'll slow down more towards the end when you're closer to your due date.
