My screen's been 14" for a few years and I'm fine with it! Most laptops are that or smaller so it's ok.

14" is a great size because its not to big or small and it can fit in a backpack easily. Plus it is not heavy at all. I have a 14" and it is great. You won't regret it if you do get it. However if you do go bigger you may not like it b/c a lot of people complained about a 17" b/c its like you are carrying around a portable TV. You don't need a screen that big. Unless you will keep it at home and then that would be fine, but other than that I would recommend a 14" b/c you can't go wrong whether you are home or out. Good Luck!

eh 14.1 are usually getting to the "convinice" over beign worth a damn - i dotn own one but the next step up (17 inch i think) isnt taht much more and prolly will be worth it - depends on if you want to game or w/e on it or just word processing ect

It's too small. Most web sites are 1024x764, and everything would be tiny and hard to see at that resolution on a 14"
