I can't understand why so many people believe everything they see, hear and read. If they read it on the internet, it must be true. If its reported on the Evening News, it must be true. I, personally, HATE cynicism - but I have come to realize, only the last couple of years, that I must question everything. Because there is always someone who has something to gain from a story spun in one direction or another.

More and more, I am realizing that government is the same way. Sure, we always hear about politicians being slimy and dishonest, but I really didn't stop to think about the implications of that. Today, I do. It didn't take this article to make me see that there is a dangerous political slant being thrown on the (potential) issue of Global Warming. The vast number of conspiracy theorists are also alarming influenced by one party or another - depending upon the conspiracy. And I have to believe that it is that influence that has made them so incredibly fanatical. So what message is that party giving out?

All forms of media are bought and paid for, and the messages controlled by those in ownership. Sad world we live in. And a dangerous one, to be sure!

With that idiot in office nothing anyone does to point out his
stupidity surprises me anymore! Next we'll have the wife of the
worst liar sitting at that desk, being treated like royalty while
doing nothing but working her jaws! She did get plenty of practice
watching what she's married to lie everyday about just about everything!!!
