Ghosts haunt everywhere - the Princess theatre in melbourne is rumoured to be gaunted and how about phantom of the opera - well maybe not but many theatres are haunted by dead actors and chruches and even shopping complexes where unexpected tragic deaths have taken place. And I have heard of offices and train stations being haunted and motel/hotel complexes where people take drugs and die or committ suicide there. No I am sure there are lots of places which are haunted.

Because when people think of ghosts, they think of old people, and the houses they might have lived in. Mansions and old houses are often associated with ghosts because they are often large, with lots of room to roam free.

But many other places are supposedly haunted, like, take this home depot for example. One day, one of the huge blocks on top of the tall shelves fell and crushed a woman. She now 'haunts' the aisle she was killed in.

There are some haunting in the places you just listed, just not a lot. The reason ghosts haunt us is because something happened so they wanted to get revenge or they were unjustly killed. How many murders have you heard about in places like that?

Ghosts haunt places they had been tragically killed in. There was a small two story house that a ghost haunted near my place. I don't know if he's still there, but he'd been tragically killed there and he used to bug my mom and grandma while they cleaned the house up every other day.

Dude, theatres get haunted all the time. And I could just swear there's some kind of evil vortex or something in the candy aisle at my local Wall-Mart. Every time I go to that aisle, I feel this incredible sense of sadness like I want to just sit on the floor and cry. I don't feel that way in, say, the aisle with the pens and staplers, and not in the frozen food aisles and not in the craft section.

So there's a ghost in the candy aisle.

Theres a Safeway somewhere here in California that's supposed to be haunted. However, I would guess it's not as usual because hauntings usually occur in a place the ghost had strong ties to as a human. You feel more sentimental about your home than you do your local grocery mart. That's what my research in film and cheesey non-fiction has led me to believe, anyway.
