The women wore long gray dresses with white aprons and head caps. The men wore mostly black with white shirts and black hats. Their clothing was drab in keeping with their religious beliefs that lavish dress and outwardly accentuating the body with colorful clothing was sinful.

If you go to http://demo.lutherproductions.com/historytutor/basic/modern/stories/images/puritans.JPG there is a picture of a bunch of Puritans around the 17th century, including men women. If that is not what you are looking for, go to google images and type in something like "Puritans 17th century" without quotes or just "Puritans".
