That sort of cheating should not be glorified or condoned. If those players want recognition, then they can go to the local store and have a plaque made for themselves.

Once they let the cheaters in, then I should expect to see Pete Rose and Joe Jackson allowed entry.

Are we going to make each Era a wing? Although that would be a good way to handle it. Have the Dead Ball Era Wing, The Steroids Era Wing, etc., etc. In the end I say if they were cheating and we can prove it then don't let them in.

Good idea, we can build a deadball era section, a home run era section (where a new ball, no spitball and pitchers throwing in the mid 70s AKA the Babe Ruth era), a raised mound era, and finally a steroid era where pitchers and hitters alike can be moked because this era was the ONLY one that had a major advantage.

if you're going to make that wing, then to me there should also be a distinguishment for a "racist era" wing, the"cheaters" wing, "alcoholic" wing, etc.

while everybody has no exact proof of steroid use before the new rules, everyone is so quick to condem them...but everyone would think twice if record books were changed once we found out the ***** Leagues and South American baseball players had better numbers but were held out of the league due to color...

Ha Ha very funny. Players who took steroids should go in the Hall of Shame.

No, I don't. Such a move would automatically assess guilt on a whole generation of players whether or not there was any proof or even any suspicion of them taking steroids. Last time I looked this was still America and innocence is assumed until proven guilty. Hopefully, your question was meant in jest. :-)

Get over this Steroid thing. It helped a lot of guys but so did the Greenys that helped Cal Ripken and Derek Jeter every day. Its not that big of a deal they all did it.

That would be considered a baseball oxymoron. You can't insult a great place of honor with such a wing.

very good question. if you ask me the guys who are taking roids, if we have verifiable evidence they took the roids should not be included in the hall. it seems though that the voters are policing themselves at this point.
