why do they even support the troop increase? WHAT ON EARTH motivates them to keep faith in the LAZY Maliki government??????
They honestly believe 'POOF, BAM' Maliki and his boys will take action right away now?? What makes them believe Maliki will step up to the plate when he has NEVER done that in the past?

The gloves are coming off and Maliki is going to be standing on the sidelines. The Shia death squads will be taken down by superior US forces. Al Sadar is a coward and when faced with this fact will disarm or melt back into the population.

Right now Maliki cannot trust his own troops! Some of them are actually on the other side! That is one reason he is hesitant to bring his own troops in; Another, he is not sure that they will not cut & run when confronted with an advisary. They have proven to be very ineffective in the past. We have put this out as a way to start withdrawing our troops; knowing full well he cannot step up to the plate. It could also be another way for us to just go home, again.

The same idiots wanted the same tactics to resolve the Vietnam war. They feel that it sullies the memories of our fallen troops to dwell in the real world and admit that they died for nothing. Now they want to prove that lunacy in Iraq by throwing more lives down the toilet in the moronic hope that they can un-sully the memories of the fallen.

But the troops memories were never sullied, and though the wars were run by incompetent leaders, they all died with honor.

The dishonor is laid now at the foot of this Administration which is willing to put our future into the hands of our enemies.

The Iraqi people grew up being taught that the UK and the US were the "Bad Guys". Here we grew up being taught that USSR and China were the "Bad Guys". If the USSR and China ganged up and defeated the UK or the US, would we ever accept a government put in place by them? I wouldn't; it is stupid to think that the Iraqi people will ever accept a government put in place by us, either.
