I got an MP3 player for Christmas. And I have no idea how to download music to it. I only have a laptop, and I don't have enough room to put the music on my laptop to send it to the MP3 player. What is the easiet way to load it with music. It is 1 GB.
Thanks for your help

I don't know if this will be much help. But I had my brother who is into all the gizmo's and gadgets. Set mine up for me. If you have a friend or relative who is into this kind of stuff maybe they could help you. Also going to the manufacturers web site can sometimes help.
Good Luck

You should have enough space on your laptop for 1GB of music. If not you can buy an external hard disk and use it for music storage. You don't have to store all of the music on the laptop hard disk anyway. What you can do is manage the music manually and don't allow it to sync with your library. You can slowly fill the mp3 player with music and delete the stuff from your hard disk as it fills up. This depends a great deal on what type of mp3 player you have of course and the software that you are planning to use with it.

I assume your mp3 player has 1GB - if you have CD's you can download your CD's to your laptop, which you can convert to MP3's when downloading to your laptop (there is an option when copying to do so).

To me this is the easiest way than re-buying songs off of the internet and to convert your CD collection to the new format.

Once you have the CD's downloaded, copy the songs from the laptop to the MP3 player and you are ready to go!

Projectplaylist.com

search songs/artists, then go to "view website" then "view full file" or "download song" and it's all free. All MP3 files, and it's legal too.
