Lady of Shalott is the subject of a poem by the english poet Alfred Lord Tennyson, first verse as follows:-
"On either side the river lie
Long fields of barley and of rye,
That clothe the wold and meet the sky;
And through the field the road run by
To many-tower'd Camelot;
And up and down the people go,
Gazing where the lilies blow
Round an island there below,
The island of Shalott."
It's all tied in to the story of King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table etc
The singer is "Loreena McKennitt". Google is a rich source of info on this singer, e.g.
