Is dating someone not of your race a sin? If so where in the bible can I find it?

No it is not. There are many instances of interracial marriages in the Bible. Moses, for example, married a cushite woman. There is interracial marriage in the geneology of Jesus Christ as well! Rahab and Ruth are both gentiles. There is nothing in the new testament indicating that interracial marriage is a sin. God's concern "interreligious" marriage. Paul repeatedly emphasizes that "At the spiritual level" there are no distinctions between people. We all stand before God as human beings. Most people marry people who look, talk, and act like themselves. Even in groups of the same race, there tend to be families, tribes, etc. among those of the SAME ethnic origin that gravitate toward people more like themselves. When diverse groups are mixed in society, there will be more intermarriage than would occur if these groups were geographically separated. Hope this helps...love and light to you always :)

No, it's not a sin, and not even in the Bible. There's nothing about race in the ten commandments. Why would you ask this? If you're considering dating someone of a different race, go with what your own heart tells you. If someone in your family is pressuring you, then they have issues of their own to deal with, but their pressure should never stop you.

A sin in the bible is defined as either when you have sex with ANYONE outside marriage. Or as the biblical kings would have-your concubines. All which have to be of the oppostite sex. And definitely human as there is great penalties for beastiality. The crux of the thing is that you may have social communication but only after there is a sort of ceremony that you can have sex with them. The bible does not anywhere specify that it must be with a person of your own race. It may advise against having relationships with a person not of your religion, and most if not all the religion concerned was Hebrew, but it was because of the religion, not the race that the advise was given against. And Hebrews did marry outside their race. It was only when they were influenced by idolatory did God send prophets to warn about possible punishment. Examples are David and Solomon's wives and concubines, who were of many nations and the story of Ruth who was not of the tribes of Israel. It was the turning to other gods, not turning to other races, that was the sin.

I have read some material about those who believe in christian racism. They claim they believe in the book, but they don't read the damm thing. They take passages out of it, for example Noah's son Ham or the Israelite queen-Jezebel and change them to suit themselves. They are not about God, they are about themselves. They use the bible dihonestly to fit into their own lunacy.

If God created humans then God created humans equally. All are under judgement under God according to the belief. If it is God's will that this be so then who in hell are these maniacs to question and pervert that which is God's will. And if you believe in evolution, then the human race are not only all one species but one sub species. And evolution goes and divides into species. Hence no matter where you turn, no matter how you cut it, the believers in christian racism are in a very sticky position. If they go up they freeze, if they go down they burn. They are between
s**t and Satan.

The bible does not talk about different races dating. It is not a sin to love who you love.
Good luck.

Firstly there is one race the Human Race, never judge a person on his colour, religion or language. There is no where in the bible that says u shoudlnt date or marry anyone outside ur country or origin i persume u mean this when u say race. Love dont come easy these days as long as ur happy and contented with urself please dont worry about what anyone thinks and certainly its not a sin. Hope this helps.

No it's not a sin. Why do you have to find it in Bible? Bible is good but not perfect.

Are you serious? Of course its not and we don't need the Bible as an arbiter in this matter. We are all human, black and white, yellow and brown, there is no wrong in dating someone of another race.
