My only advise to you is to totally ignore each and every answer on here and do EXACTLY what you have been taught over these last weeks. Your instructor is responsible for getting you through your test so give him your best and no more

Don't try to "impress" it won't work.

JUST DO WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT

If you do take this advise you will more than likely pass

Good luck and enjoy driving but more than that be safe for you and for all of us on the roads

Look out for the motorcyclists as I am one of them and I want to remain safe

Good luck tomorrow 1st Feb is actually my birthday so I will think of you

Post a pass on here tomorrow night and I will look for it

I took mine in October last year. All I can suggest really is try to go in with an open mind, and listen carefully to the examiner. Try to do well even if you think you have failed, you may be pleasantly surprised! Theres not a lot you can do about the nerves i'm afraid, but tell yourself that either way, it will all be over in half an hour1 Good luck, be sure to post and let us know how you did!

Just get in teh car for you lessons before hand and think it is the same lesson you always have. Think of going to the test centre as just a break in the lesson and that the examiner is just another instructor you wanna impress!

Anyway, GOOD LUCK!! (I'm thinking you may have already had it seemsing it is Thursday now, so let us know how you did!)

Sarz good luck on Thursday .When doing your test ignore the tester
.Let him see you looking in your mirrors &watch the speed limits and read the traffic lights in good time particularly ones with pedestrian crossing .Try to be smooth on the brakes & acceleration. An early night will help no tea r coffee after 6 30pm .All this worked for me and i passed 1st time in my car & bus test .I am an advanced motoring certified driver as well .Cheers

A friend of mine said caffeine tablets got her through her test, but they might make you hyperactive, so, listen to a relaxation tape & keep using the Bach remedies is my advice. Also think of a mantra that will give you confidence & repeat it if you feel stressed. Good luck!

Move your head a little more then you would normally to make sure the tester KNOWS you are using your rear view mirror, not to much, but just enough.

And when I messed up on the reverse around the corner, I messed up, (Nerves) and I just said, "Hey I messed up there, - mind if I start again?"

Don't give the tester whiplash on the emergency stop, its best not to put the break through the floor, break quickly and smooth as you can, without stalling the engine. you may sense when he is going to do the emergency stop, as he too uses his rear view mirror to make sure no one crashes up the back of you, as it don't look good in the local newspaper, so you can be aware, and do it all sensibly and make sure he knows you used the mirror during that emergency stop.

These things got me through, Gooooood luck, think positive and picture yourself jumping out the car and waving your pass paper!!

Don't forget to put on your sealt belt and check all of the mirrors before starting the car.
Use your turn signal when pulling out of a parking space and at all turns.
Don't forget to breath.
Be polite to the tester.
Don't hit anything during, or after, the test.

Don't go in drunk, they freakin hate that...just kidding. If you have had plenty experience behind the wheel in practice, then you should have nothing to worry about. Pay extra attention to your surroundings and your operational procedures and you will do just fine...if you don't have a lot experience, you might want to reschedule until you get some more. Nothing builds confidence like practice...

Awww I feel for you. I was exactly the same. I took "kalms" tablets. Just make sure you get a good nights sleep, it really helps if you get an examiner that is friendly and talks to you, rather than one that just sits there staring straight ahead, but thats beyond your control:0( Good luck and I hope you pass!!!!

Good luck, & think positive.

If you fail it means that the examiner feels you need more practice or you could end up a danger to yourself or others it's not a personal attack or some petty vendetta against new drivers.
