How many monkey speices are there in south and central America?

I am doing a report for social studies and my topic is the rain forest in south and central America and I can find out how many of the other animal speices except monkeys i guess there are too many or something like that. If you can find a good answer and not guess i will give you the best answer reward. If you have to please go to google and search anything you can think of to get the answer.
